NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PROPRIETORS OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS (NAPPS) DAY

RECOGNITION OF LIZDAV ACADEMY
The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) is the apex association of private school owners in Nigeria. NAPPS was founded in 2005 with the aim of promoting the welfare and interaction of proprietors of private schools and the advancement of quality educational services in Nigeria.

In line with the above, the members of this great association deemed it fit to set aside a particular day in every term to celebrate as achievers and future moulders of pupils and students of NIGERIA for brighter and better tomorrow.

This day for this term was October 14, 2019 and across the federation of Nigeria, it was a massive celebration day.

Nasarawa state chapter was not left out, as Karu Local Government of the state had thiers celebrated in grand style, with lots of event among which was presentation of awards to deserving schools and Proprietors.

 The Proprietress of our great institution LIZDAV ACADEMY was among those awarded with the award of NAPPs GOLD award, in recognition of her meritorious services and immense contributions to the development and growth of Private schools in Nigeria.
She shared her joy with both Pupils/Students and staff of the school, and also dedicating the award to God and the efforts of the teachers and staff for a job well done in uplifting the standard of the school, and the well being of both pupils and student; socially, morally and academically.







 Its her earnest prayers that God grant all their heart desires...

LIZDAV VALENTINE'S DAY CELEBRATION

February 14 of every year is known round the world as the St. Valentine's day, a day set aside to keep the memory of the great Saint alive for his contribution towards love and humanity, as Valentines was a Roman Priest who defiled the Roman Empire decree that the young men will rather be enlisted into the army rather than get married, but he will prefer to marry them (the young men) and their loved ones secretly. And when he was caught, Valentines was tortured and Martyred for love, hence it necessitated this day be dedicated to him to keep a constant reminder that love conquers all. The St. Valentines day has become a global day set aside to celebrate love and humanity, and as such, LIZDAV Academy was not left out in the marking of such a great day.
