LANGUAGE TIPS
Do you know that language is:
1.
Dynamic?
2.
Coventional?
3.
Arbitary?
Let look at the dynamism of
languages:
Language is dynamic in the sense
that it is constantly changing. New words can evolve from existing ones and
once it is widely accepted and used by a particular speech community, it
becomes coventional; because new words evolved do not seem to be based on any
reason, plan or system, it is therefore arbitary. All these qualities are the
attributes or features of human language.
